I'm glad of that tbh, having Deacon out for 1 week might show Macca that s different combination in the halves would be a good thing.

Never. That's why I think he'll do something stupid like put Solo there on his first gama back (if he is playing).

To be honest I think thats a blessing in disguise for you guys that the slow coach is missing.



His defence has also been shown up to be very suspect this season and I'd be a lot happier if he was playing for you this Friday.

Ben at 7 (which outside folk say anyway is his best position) and Beaver at 6 (for as long as he can keep it up) would seem the preferable combination?

I agree it will be useful to see a new combination in ther halfs as we have generally een weak there this year, but in this game against Leeds? Far from ideal.



And anyone being "glad" that Deacon is out injured????? How can you be happy that one of our players is injured ahead of such a crucial game? He hasn't been great this year, and more and more is looking like a shadow of his former self but to be happy he's injured is just not something I can understand as a Bulls fan, crazy.

Its more happy he cant play. Not happy that he is injured.

I've been saying from week one that a lack of creativity/threat in the halfs is one of our biggest problems and trying a new combination is a good thing.... just wish it wasnt this game as I cant see this disruption and a new pairing helping us against Burrow and McGuire. Hopefully it will, but its only blind hope and faith, not logic.

tbh i think deacon is getting towards the end of his days playing wise and he has been knocked out a few times already this season, i think a couple of weeks off would do him and bradford the world of good, i'm hoping for menzies at 6 and Jeffries at 7

Sad to say but its good news for the team at the moment IMO, as stated earlier i think Jeffries and Menzies should have run at half back.
