Also the farrell game you mention he wasnt that good in that game, brave maybe but I think the hyperbole from the commentators at the time may have clouded the judgment of that game.

Sure Malcolm Alker is the highest OPTA scoring in a game could be wrong though

Steven Kearney v St Helens in 2005 challenge cup semi. Maybe not a headline grabber like Jamie Lyon or Farrell but any Hull fan would agree with me that it was about as complete a performance as you can get from a back rower.

The best from an individual player was Darren Lockyer in the Tri Nations final at Ellend road against GB.



If I had to pick one from super league era it would have to be Radlinski in the challenge cup final.

Honourable mention goes to the awesomely named Steel Retchless, makking 66 tackles in one SL game (around 1999 I think).

Agreed, he was outstanding that day.

Barrett was amazing that second half, I think I will go with that one. Other players had a whole team around them but Barrett lifted the whole team with his performance and like you say created most of the tries with his long passes.
