No because you fundamentally (or deliberately) misunderstand the RFL's statement. By a carousel of players it is meant that they shouldn't be de-registering and re-registering players on a regular basis.

Also which 6 players are those that count on the quota? I'd love to know especially since Dobson is no longer a Hull KR player.

I'd agree. Which is why I'm confused by your stance on this. You say it's exceptional, you say it's never happened before, yet you then refuse to accept it should be considered by the board. Kindly point me to the rule that covers a players' delayed receipt of a passport after being granted it, then taking the place of someone else in the team who wishes to return to the team at a later date.

If you can't show me the rule that covers this then you must surely admit it should be discussed by the RFL board as an exceptional circumstance.

No it didnt. Brent Webb hasnt counted as a non-fed trained player, as has no player who was here prior to 2008 since 2009, Which is 2 years ago. Pat Richards hasnt counted as a quota player since he arrived 5 years ago. There has been no change in either of their status this year.





There is no problem if this is what has actually happened, rather than HKA have de-registered a player making him a free agent but having him contracted to rejoin the club and be re-registered and given dispensation to break the rules to do so



If Dobson isnt re-registered as a HKA player this season as per the rules i have no issue with the RFL or HKAs actions in this matter.

The rule states that no overseas player can be re-registered in the same same season. I see no reason why expediting the availability of another overseas player, who cant currently play because of the amount they already have, is a good reason for granting dispensation.



Yet in the RFL operational rules it states nowhere does the circumstances need to be 'exceptional' so all your debate about how it being uncommon means it is exceptional and so means the RFL need to consider it is just nonsense. The RFL can consider granting such a dispensation in any circumstances they wish. But just because they can, doesnt mean they should, or that they are above criticism for doing so.

Shock horror, a club with a new signing with a huge profile within the game use said signing to raise cash to help their youth development scheme to send youngsters to Australia to develop. I may have to return my season pass in disgust.

So the club have started a development scheme they can't afford and are now fleecing their gullible fans to try and save face. However you look at it, it is disgusting they have the nerve to charge people to watch training sessions and attend press conferences, what next, charging for autographs.

If the club cared about the fans one little bit they would REQUEST that any fan wishing to watch the session makes a donation to the trip.
