PNG looked good for about 70 mins. Then a few errors creeped in and Tonga got 2 late constelation tries. Would still put my money on PNG for the final.

How come the winners of the Pacific Cup get into next years 4 nations ?



I thought we were trying to get France more competitive so England can have some more intense international matches.

whats happening is we are having a european cup and a pacific cup with the winners of those comps becoming the 4th team in the 4nations

So the winners of the European cup play the winners of the Pacific cup to become the 4 th team ?

Don't build your hopes up.

When the 4 Nations is in the Norther Hemisphere, then the winner of the Euro cup takes the 4th spot in the 4 nations. Same with southern Hemisphere but the 4th place being taken by the winner or the Pacific cup.



So basically, the winner of this years Pacific cup will play next year in the 4 Nations. Then the winner of the Euro cup in 2010 will feature in the 2011 4 nations. That's assuming them have one.
