Hahaha. To be honest, I didn't realise there was a second Peel Park in Salford.

Yeah, there's one in Little Hulton, wouldn't say its that's bad just sometimes full of kids on the weekends, with cheep cider thinking their bigger than they actually are.

The only Peel Park i know of is the one of Chapel Street near the old Salford Cresent Police station.

Many moons ago there was a short lived Little Hulton team who used to play on Peel Park, i played for a season or two and in all my playing days it is the only place I've played at that had a kick off that involved people who were nothing to do with the game nor strictly watching the game. There was a bit of a free for all and they just joined in when walking past.

I remember playing a match in Ordsal park when 10 mins into the second half some kids drove a car onto the pitch and torched it, we had to eventually abandon the match because of the smoke and the fire brigade taking up more of the pitch.

You won't be getting Fielden, but you will be getting another GF winning Bradford Bulls academy product.

Jamie Peacock (c) - Hope not, crocks got us relegated in 2007.

Stuart Fielden - Expect him to stay with Wigan.

Brad Meyers - Not a clue, would of thought he retired.

Lee Radford - Contract up at Hull, not particularly inspiring and I don't think he'd make us any better.

Robbie Paul - Would fit the Judas tag, slimmy little S**t. Only as a coach though.

None of Ben Harris, Deacon or Meyers have retired btw. And Hape & Les aren't doing too badly now.



Reardon's been playing wing this season, but his best position is undoubtedly Full-back. He can play centre too.

So if Reardon sign's it's either fullback, wing or centre. Now correct me if I'm wrong but aren't we more than covered in those positions





We've got Patten, Gibson, Henry, Nero, Bailey, Broughton, McGilvray, Ratchford and Wild who all play or can cover those positions not to mention Gleeson on his way.

Reardon definitely played in the 2003 Grand Final. I can't remember who Bradford beat, but I remember that I was sat in West Stand Tier 2, that the Bradford fans were largely glum despite winning (we were still buzzing from winning the NL grand final 2 weeks earlier), and seem to remember Reardon playing well at fullback and possibly either scoring (and if he did score I seem to remember it being at the East Stand end about halfway between the sticks and the North Stand!) or winning the Harry Sunderland award.

Yeah he won the Harry Sunderland.

He's the second best fb, the second best winger and the third best centre out of those players.

I don't think he'll be happy joining if that's the case. I have a feeling he'll want to go to a club where he will actually play. I hope we're smart enough to save the cash we'd spend on Reardon and use it on Bentley or any other decent hooker.

McGilvary is OOC at the end of the season? To be honest, Reardon can't be counted as a big signing or as a Judas.

Your forgetting Ratchford who seems to be the clubs omni back, I would rather save the money from the Reardon and Gleesons signings and get one top notch back in.

They went over to play for England!!!!! Didn't see the summer internationals, but he there was many a finger of blame pointed in his direction, and the first Martin Johnson did was to dump LES.
