| Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"I think the way he went about things(and Wigan to be fair) was pretty poor though in the respect that he'd obviously agreed to sign for us before the deadline.
He had been a good servant for Salford though and had turned down Wigan in the past to stay with you guys so he does maybe warrent a bit more of a reception.
It's all banter at the end of the day though.'"
No it wasnt, but this happens all the time in Australia. Coley was the scapegoat for an underachieving squad in 2007 and seen as public enemy number one.

| Coley was amazing tonight and i don't really know where that performance came from? Wish he could do that every week.
Seriously tho i was stood to the left of the Wigan end on the corner between what I believe you call the shed and some of your fans were on the teams back from literally the first minute. One guy who was obviously drunk didn’t have a good word to say about your team. You weren’t honestly that bad and in 12 months you’ll be far, far more competitive. It’s always gonna take time tho

| Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"That was his best game ever for us tonight which goes to show it's a case of attitude with Coley.
When he wants to he's a very good player but the guy looks un-interested at times.'"
Agree 100%, a few of us were talking after the game about the way he used to raise his game when he played for us against Warrington. In his 1st spell tonight he was almost unplayable. The point was made that if he could focus & play like that every week he'd be a regular international, as you say it's not so much a case of ability as one of attitude & I think that's what supporters (be it Salford or Wigan) find so frustrating about the man.

Frustrating just about sums the guy up. He's a huge bloke but also a good athlete and when he plays like tonight you look at him as a English version of Willie Mason. The problem is preformences like tonight only happen once every blue moon and the rest of the time he walks around at half pace with a can't be d look on his face.
He'll retire as a guy who's pretty much wasted his natural talents imo.

Last time I seen him play like that was when he was playing for Salford against Wigan, IIRC he scored either once or twice that game

| Quote Fatboys Limb="Fatboys Limb"Coley was excellent tonight.
Can't help but think the hostile reception he got will have helped to get him fired up enough to turn in that kind of performance.

like I stated on here the other day but most fans ignored it, Sports Pyschology was one of my subjects all be it 20 odd years ago it doesn't change.

| Bit wierd for a professional to be like this. You'd think he should be pumped up for every game, i always think you can be the best player in the world but if you don't have the head to go with it you'll be nothing!
