| Fantastic Mr Cat:Jake the Peg:
You need to follow the lead of leeds and Hull who have both appointed experienced NRL coaches but also new DOR's who actually know what they're doing recruitment wise, and then let them get on with their jobs with no interference - easy at Hull where the owner is the father in law of the DOR (although now CEO but still doing the DOR job).
No surprise both clubs are on an upward trajectory.
Appointing burgess was always going to be a big gamble, which rarely pay off
it didn't take an awful lot to get hull better than last year, and they're not without their issues by any means, and very similar with arthur, whilst Leeds whilst improved are still liable to bloody awful perfomances/results, and they've had the same thing with arthur potentially with one foot out the door, either staying on after he was originally appointed and also with the perth job. The point is both are improving whilst you're getting worse des0ite spending lots of money ey year in, year out. Hull have gone from terrible to ok in a season so I'm confident they will c9ntinue to i,prove in the next year or two. Wire seem to have no real recruitment strategy in place

But Wire made a CC Final. I guess it's how you measure it, will be close if they manage a playoff win. However, we went from 11th in 2022 to 6th in 2023 and we all know how that ended up.
