was chatting with Bob Jackson's wife on facebook (don't like to namedrop) and she is furious and says that the girl involved is out to wreck Johns marriage and career and doing a good job if it. It happened 7 years ago and no charges were ever made, now suddenly it's brought up again.



Sounds a bit John Leslie to me. Supposed to have done something, never charged, career wrecked but still innocent by court of law or police

I can see that side of it and do question the character of the girl involved, however, even if the players did nothing legally wrong, it was certainly morally wrong. Should be ashamed of themselves.

The Footy show will be nothing without Matty Johns, he is the humour and makes the show tick.



From what ive read Matty Johns wasn`t charged with anything at the time, to me it sounds like someone is trying to wreck his career and life. Its amazing really that Max Moseley can continue in his role with F1 but Matty Johns gets hung to high heaven for something that he did which was fully consenting and was done in private a long time ago.



Its not like its rape or anything like it, he`s being treated like it is. With it happening so long ago it makes you think why drag it all up again now after so long, if its caused her trauma like she says then she wouldn`t want it dragging up again with her private life all over the television and newspapers, that means she would have to go through it all over again, thats hardly a cure for trauma. I wonder if she is getting financially rewarded for her side of the story, it makes you think.

Not quite the same though because max mos isn't as much as a public figure as matty johns...you wouldn't want someone known to be an adulterer and a bit of a sexual deviant to be presenting a family show...it's probably closer to angus deyton or jamie theakston or maybe even ron atkinson and they all got axed
