There's a pub in Chiswick called Connolly's that is usually OK to get a game on. It also has 2 screens - one on each side of the pub so can show 2 matches / sports at once.



If you want I can check that they will definitely have it on.

It would make my day to find a pub with rugby in London.. moved here about four months ago and fell out with Walkabout in Covent Garden when they only showed the second half of the cas match a while back because 'they have too much on already'.. as if Aussie Rules is more important!!

This sounds like a decent idea, find all the Wires in London, have a nominated boozer that shows the game, possibly even a car share for going the games for the people who are going up north. We could be on to something here.

Could have done with this a few years ago. In almost twenty years of living in London, I succeeded in getting a Wires match put on a pub telly the grand total of two times. Once was an inconsequential Sat eve match away at Cas, and the other was the Regal Trophy final when Wigan battered us at Huddersfield.

The only problem with that is, Chiswick's bloomin miles away. I'm based in Elephant and I imagine there are others who're closer in, so somewhere more central might be an idea. (Also anywhere that does real ale would be a bonus, I can't be drinking larger all night. Well I could but I'd prefer not to!)

Elephant to Chiswick isn't that far, in London you need to get used to travelling a bit.
