Not because of his error but i have always said riley will never make a good rugby player for as long as he has a hole in his a**e, does'nt run straight, cant defend, dodgy under the high ball and he will be exactly like Dean Gaskell because it will be ages before any coach relises he wont make the grade and they will ship him of to rochdale hornets or leigh.

I'll bet this month's wages that the one bloke who doesn't need telling Chris Riley should have scored is Chris Riley. The key, for a winger at least, is to score more than you allow. Remember all the comments about Offiah* not being able to defend? I doubt there's a club in the world which wouldn't put up with the odd error, if a winger was scoring regularly.



As it happens, I still think Riley's best position is at full back. He's quick, but not winger quick.











*Not comparing Riley to Offiah of course, any more than Kev Penny should be, I'm merely making a point.

Feel compelled to disagree. Riley lost the ball under pressure, Sully had all the time in the World to take that ball.



Riley made a stupid error, that ball should have had two arms fully wrapped round it, so all he had to do was fall over the line. Credit where it is due to Bosc for having the presence of mind to attack the ball as opposed to making the tackle.



captainblindman, please don't tag me as a Sully basher either as I was left totally bemused as to why he didn't finish the game on Saturday.



When all said and done, had we won that game it would have been a travesty anyway, we didn't deserve it.

Fair comment but there have been occasions (a few) where we have been beaten by a team when we deserved to win.



Its about time we started doing the same.

It is a team game and Warrington had 12 minutes to pull back 2 points and failed to do it. They simply cannot convert line breaks because of a lack of composure.

Agree totally. That's our biggest problem for me. The amount of bombed tries from ourselves over a course of a season is incredible.
