We've never been the most popular club and that probably hasn't got that much worse over the last season. We've got a long way to go if we are to be as despised as Wigan used to be.

I feel we're more like the Millwall of the north. No one likes us and we really don't care.*





*Although I do remember a time when there was a 'campaign' to clear the name of Millwall FC fans when they were, allegedly, wrongly accused of something (the specificies escape me right now). If they cared as little as they claim to, why would they have bothered with this campaign? Just a thought.

To be the new Wigan we would have to be squatters in someone elses ground where the guy that owns the stadium could say that your not playing here when ever he felt like just like he did when he made Wigan play at Widnes, nar i wouldn`t fancy becoming the new Wigan
