What has gone on at Leigh?? I never thought I'd again see the day that Swinton were 'direct threat' to leigh. I think you'll find at the end of the season we will be fighting for different things. We will be happy finishing abover the bottom 2.

You are right leigh1978 swinton wouldnt have been allowed to sign anyone unti leigh had completed team building. In fact players moving clubs should be outlawed especially over such long distances. Leigh havent signed anyone from anywhere else have they?

Agreed. It can only be a good thing if Swinton are offering a bit of healthy competition. And even then Armstrong wasn't our player, Higson was a squad player at best and Mills has obviously put cash ahead of silverware. Jimmy T would only have left as a worst case scenario.





Any game of RL is of interest to me.

I have said before it is not the Swinton clubs fault that a couple of Leigh players decided to join Swinton despite them being offered terms by our club.



Now if Swinton and Leigh were playing different teams on the same day I would always go to the Leigh game.



One other thing if Swinton have a home game at the LSV and Leigh have no game that day I will go to watch them.

PS I have no hostility to Swinton, I'd just rather use my money to watch Leigh and buy Leigh merchandise at the LSV.

Probably Ste, but can you be 100% certain. What with some of our fans funding the £1500 a month (before bonuses) salaries of several of their 'stars' you can not be certain. It seems we may have fecked up the Brierley deal, we only have one senior side and a small squad so injuries will take their toll. I do hope you're right Ste but I am keeping my rose coloured glasses off for the time being
