Bad language mars the game and puts people off coming? Don't talk rubbish man, have you never been to a Premiership football game? Families and much louder and cruder language than I've heard at ANY game of RL, and they're pretty obviously not suffering for it.
Get off your high horse Peanut, its life. Words are only offensive because of a victorian mentality that still pervades life. If thats your biggest concern about the game then I'm sorry, but you really do know nowt.
How can a word that is used to describe one of the best parts of the human experience be offensive? It should be a celebratory word, not an offensive one!

This comment does not make sense! A lot of people will find the language offensive and not attend. The simple fact is that the language is intended to be offensive to opposing fans.
That alone means it is unacceptable and needs stopping. |

 i take it you travel home and away do you,did you go to sheffield???????.

 you really are a numpty.but the best thing about a forum is that everyone as an opinion. eh i swear like a trooper in certain circumstances but you think its acceptable at a sporting event were children are!!!!

Think you might actually be on to summat there; I'll hold my hands up and admit that the fact that I grew up watching Leigh through most of the 90's when there was maybe a more hostile kind of atmosphere, and that may affect the behaviour who have known little different. Of course, it is now up to ourselves as a fanbase to ensure that the next generation of fans don't grow up with the same tendancies. |
