Maybe I'm a bit over sensitive when it comes to Town-Giants backbiting. Apologies, your joke was really, really, really funny.

I personally didn't hear any boo's only cheers which were predominantly louder for Dean Hoyle! But talking to a friend who's a massive town fan but hates rugby is suprisingly a Ken Davy supporter. She told me that she was outraged to hear the boo's near where she was sitting. As we all say if hadn't been for Ken Town would not be in the Football league!!



Also my friend was suprised to hear how the Giants are treated. I was telling her how the pitch was to be ripped up today and that for the Giants next two home matches they'd be having to play on sand and that it wasn't the first time neither. She said thats disgusting and would certainly voice her opinion to any town fan complaining the pitch's condition was down to the Giants! As she put it Town have never had to play on sand!!



Also has Ken ever had to prove he can play Rugby?? Dean Hoyle played yesterday in the legends match, and showed he can play and even scored a goal! Which made him get even higher regard from the town faithfull!

Do you not remember a few years ago when we played Saints and I think we may have played either Cas or Wakey when the pitch had just been reseeded! The only playing surface was the sand and the Desso plastic strips coming through!! When we play Rochdale the grass seeds will have only been in the ground a week or so!! It's the only way the groundsman can relay the pitch by seeding it rather than turfing!

That won't do the pitch any good at all. How about playing it up at the YM? It'd cater for the 200 or people getting out of bed for 11:30am.

They decided to do it as early as possible as all the local finals which usually happen after the regular football season has finished were a lot earlier this year! I think they wanted to give the pitch more time as we've had two consecutive wet summers! The groundsman was actually doing some prep work on the pitch cutting the grass down to it's bare minimum almost straight after the game yesterday, he was going up and down on his mower while they had their mammoth penalty shoot out!!

i've got nowt against HTFC but i hope some of these ungrateful,know nothing, morons who come from dewsbury/wakefield/spen valley realise when it all goes pear shaped just what KD did for their club and will begging for him to come back in and save them, and i hope after the way he's been treated he sticks 2 fingers up at them

Ken Davy is a true Gentleman. I have a lot of time for the man and always love chatting to him.

It would be easier if Town relocated to Heckmondwike so their fans dont have as far to travel for the home games
