Other followers of other sects will try to derail our faith, constantly moaning about how good our religion is. They will proclaim damnation of our good defence, of our outstanding attack, all whilst watching the paint dry.



They wilt accuse us of the chicken wing, and of the play acting of St. Sam, and of the forward pass, and of the Wigan walk, and of anything as long as we’ve won.



All sorts of jealousy shalt spring forth, but we will never stray from the path. For Wigan are power and the glory forever and ever.

We will always be hated just like Man Utd are in football. Its because we have the proudest history in RL and everyones scared of us.



Its good to see posts like that though. I have only been going watching Wigan for about 5 years (one of those that when they were playing badly the attendances went up haha) and I've never seen anything like this before.



Always had the "you cheated to stay up" and "you always break the cap you're definitely breaking it now" and "you were the first professional team thats why you did so well" etc etc.



But now its because theyre scared we will embarass them. It's good to be this way. I wish I'd been old enough to see all those Cups and Leagues in the 80s/90s though (born in 89 to a Wire fan that doesnt actually go and only watches on TV if its a big game glad my mates at School all liked Wigan ha)

Ive been going for 20 years and been a season ticket holder for 15 years, even thought we have always been hated, its only recently with the invent of recent internet technology that this hatred has festered because people can keep posting it and reading it and hyping themselves up. Its great watching people get wound up and frustrated with how good our team is. No matter where we are in the league we are always hated.

Read this it brings a tear to my glass eye.
