However being the day after the WIGAN BEER FESTIVAL maybe a few deaths before hand. Why don't the rlfans 'buy (sponsor) a barrel on the Thur, Fri or Sat night (or all) so there is a good rugby league presence like there was at the Bent and Bongs beer festival a few weeks ago (Which was brilliant by the way). Some even had sains shirts on!!! I had words after my 5th Moonshine (cider-which i dont drink since new years eve 1998 after waking up half buried in a skip off Darlington St)

My name is Ian Prior and I am the Social Secretary/Advertising Manager of the Wigan Branch of CAMRA (The Campaign for Real Ale).
We are holding our 23rd Beer Festival at Robin Park Sports Centre, Loire Drive, Wigan (Opposite the DW Stadium, West Stand) between Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th March 2010 and are looking for sponsorship of just £30. For this amount you will receive:
Sponsors name on a barrel and entry within the programme
2 tickets to the exclusive sponsors only “Tasting Session” (Thursday 16.00 – 17.30 for free beer)
Additional 4 free entry tickets (Thursday evening only, 17.30 onwards)
I enclose a form for completion and look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in sponsoring this event, but if there is anything you are unsure of, please telephone me for further clarification.
