Maybe you did last night but normally we can't here a peep but then it isn't suprising because it's always going to be a struggle for 27 people to outsing 12,000( even if they're just chatting with their mates).
As for United it's not much to crow about beating Latics...................now if they could beat a good side like Barelona |

It's yet more juvenile revisionism. But it's typical of 'little club' syndrome.
It's like: "There might have been hardly any of us, but we outsang you." Or "We might have lost, but we had a better time than you." Or "We might have some of your rejects in our team, but they're playing better for us than they did for you because they like us more". Or "We might be a small club, but everything your club does is cheap and underhand, while we are always open and honest". Or "We are basically better people than you."
Salford fans are past masters at this sort of thing. It's all complete nonsense, but it sweetens the bitter pill that once again they've been firmly put in their place. |
