| Quote tommy="tommy"Jeez, ive never seen so much pathetic squabbling from people who collectivly probably aint seen 'their' team play 10 times this year.
At the end of the day, chelsea should have had 4 penalties but sumone didnt do his job and cos the club millions. Everyone here would go just as mad if it happend to thier team, watching or playing, so why start singling out people like drogba (who yes is a diving git) for that reaction.
I get the point of being glad ur rivals didnt win, but sum of u need to simmer down'"
It's sport, not war. People are having a laugh. Not overreacting. Overreacting would be bringing Heysel into this discussion or calling people out for fights. This is just messageboard joviality. And Chelsea are still a rich team fighting for honours. It's not like theyve been threatened or relegated in any way and their reaction was absolutely comical.
So in conclusion,
LOL Chelsea!

| How typical. English side go out and the media have a field day about decisions that were not awarded.
In regards to the penalties? They were hardly four stone wallers were they? Also, given that Drogba was involved in one then that is (copyright Scousers) justice as far as I am concerned. He is always throwing himself on the deck and cheating for fouls so he can hardly complain when he is not given one when he perhaps should have been.
Barca also won 1-0 on dodgy red card decisions on the night, something which the eternally biased Sky punditry conveniently seemed to gloss over too.
ATEOTD, Barca going through was deserved after Chelski's "anti-football" in the first game when they were just too negative for words. Boring team with half ar$ed fans, most of whom will desert them next season anyway due to the fact that they are not really winning anything of note anymore.
If the reactions at the end were by the Barca players, or, worst still, an Italian outfit, then Sky would be going beserk about how the club were a disgrace and should be kicked out of the competition (next year Chelski fans) for their behaviour. They were an utter disgrace and heaped shame on themselves. Funny it was.
However, I am sure that some people will take comfort in the ref making the odd bad decision. I await the same people flooding message boards/radio phone-in shows next season when they call the ref a disgrace for awarding Chelsea yet another dodgy penalty award. However, that will not happen.
Ha ha ha Chelski, you got what you deserved.
Visca el Barca.

Not really. Even the Tommys and the Gerrys had a game of football in World War 1 - we'll be back hating each other shortly.
Have another look at Pique's handball. Just after he does it, he does a massive 'fool me, that's torn it' exhale, realises he might get away with it, shuffles the gears and plays on. Good work Agent Pique. I know it's been said countless times before but it really was funny when that goal went it. Tuck in Terry.
The Emirates is going to be a fun place on Sunday - I hope they are the first small time numpties to play 'Barcelona' over the tannoy before kick off, at least they can beat Hull to it!

| Since when did the referee's nationality become so important all of a sudden?? Oh yeah, when an English side get "screwed" over that's when...I mean our ref's are so very good and lead the world in everything don't they
I thought the ref had a poor game last night but does that mean he's "out of his depth" as pundits were saying afterwards?? Fabregas had 2 poor games against Nited, Cech and Reina had bad games in the CL QF at Stamford Bridge - are they all out of their depth at this level too??

| I had a little chuckle when Barca scored and I thought back to the Chelsea fans who posted 'F 'em - survival of the fittest!' etc on a board created to make donations to help Rotherham United survive. There was no need to comment at all if they didn't want to donate anything. Karma!

As a neutral that supports a Championship team I'd just like to express to you that you know f*ck all and talk utter b*llocks. Trying to get a reaction because you dislike Chelsea shows what a pleb you are.
Chelsea were clearly robbed and I'm sure Mssr Platini's cafe and croissants taste sweet this morning.
Chelsea played great last night and were far more effective than Barca both in defence and going forward. Anti-football I don'tthink so. I bet you as much as you like that United set up to sit back and counter attack a la Chelsea in the final. The fact is there is no team in the world capable of "out footballing" Barca. Chelsea's tactics were a masterclass from Hiddink anf they were robbed by some disgraceful reffing. As Sourness said last night on Sky - if Pique's handball is not a penalty then you are really struggling to ever say what is. Even Pique stopped play if you paid attention. He was shocked when he was allowed to continue.

| Quote keithcun="keithcun"You've gotta feel for John Terry. Out of the Champions League whilst within touching distance of the final and half an hour later, Sir Alan sends him home from the Apprentice, what a bloody night he's had.
But, I'll hold my hands up, that Drogba, always thought he was a bit of a diva, or should that be diver? Anyway, the way he stayed on his feet when everyone around him, whether it be security, his own players or opposition players were pulling him and pushing him away from the referee was commendable, I knew he had it in him, I knew he was strong as an ox, so thanks for that Didier lad and I can only apologise for ever doubting you.'"
Cheers, takes a lot to make me laugh at this time in the morning; especially twice.

Maloudas' "penalty was never a penalty. Drogba had a case but people are wise to his antics so he cannot really complain. The Pique handball, fair enough but that wipes out the Henry penalty that Barca should have had in the Camp Nou. The Ballack one was a desperate, and frankly, joke claim.
Leaving it 1-1 on stone wallers, 1-0 to Barca in dodgy red cards and 2-0 to Chelski (at least) in major dummy spits.
Quote Captain Jack SparrowTrying to get a reaction because you dislike Chelsea shows what a pleb you are.'"
Because I dislike Chelski? Where did I say that? TBH, I could not really give a toss about the Premiership so I do not dislike anyone. Still, I got a reaction from you if that [iis[/i what I was looking for.

What the likes of Lord God Jose Mourinho will never understand is that there is a level of mutual respect between Liverpool and Man U fans that never gets heard. Yes, we hate each other with a passion (not personally, but as a group) but the fact that both sets of fans are so alike is probably the reason.
There is just nothing I could begrudgingly respect about Chelsea or it's fans, that's just the way it is and more than likely the way it will remain.
