You'll find plenty of City fans expressing exactly the same sentiments. I doubt that many of the fans of the clubs near the top of the table (ie above Birmingham) are that happy with their club's form. All will believe that they can play much better and be more consistent. The race for 4th spot is more interesting than usual but its not due to the quality of football being played. |

The race for 4th shows how lucky Liverpool are as a club. They are terrible, won 6 out of what 20 now? But NONE of the other sides have capitalised on their failure. One of City, Villa and Spurs should be 10 clear of Liverpool by now, but seem hell bent on drawing as many games as possible. It's a shame Everton have had the shambolic run of injuries they have had. 4th was well within reach this season but having no fit defenders for months didn't help.
Liverpool will probably get fourth. They'll use it to paper over the cracks and act like they're contenders.

Other club's performances isn't lucky on our part, it just shows you that despite us having the worst season of all time, ever, the other clubs haven't been much better.
Let's be honest, Everton are a defender, striker and midfielder short of the top 4. To be getting players of the requisite quality in those positions, you'll need investment, something I feel is unlikely to happen, no matter how much Moyes overachieves. A take over is what the club need, but until a stadium is possible, I'm still mixed on whether that will happen. |

I'm not sure if the form of the better teams means the league is stronger overall, or that the top sides have actually had a decline in quality and the poorer sides are capitalizing on that. |

Jagielka?? Arteta?? Yakubu?? All on the way back from injury/ACN etc
And the standard in the PL has gone markedly down in the past couple of years IMO. |
