That was the original plan so makes sense but that isn't how it sounded on the Podcast.
The training facilities will be great if he gets it through but I thought there was still a lot if work to do there, ecen if they get agreement to proceed, which isn't certain.
It wasn’t very clear on the podcast but I think the issue was more with the question was asking not just about one project but multiple around the ground. So Ellis I think answered discussing the two main ones in one go. Not sure what the hint is for the location of training facilities but I might look at a map later.
That would be exciting and I wonder if there would be a sporting grant to assist and it could really help in community aspects.
Very exciting if we can get a quality training centre and training pitches etc.
I think Matt Ellis has mentioned West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club previously.
as I spent several years playing my rugby league at this venue during the 1980s... I think it qualifies very nicely as a centre of excellence... By association..Seriously tho.. It's well located, loads of space and potential
They said they intend doing it but the sky and media setup is linked to the first screen and patching it across to the second is a bit of a job, but they intend doing it.
"The overall
increase in capacity in the North Stand as a result of the rearward extension of the existing
terracing will be approx. 2000 standing spectators."
If we can fill that full of Wakey fans, then that will be one hell of an atmosphere
Just read through half of it and looked at the diagrams in the plans.
It would be impressive and transform the stadium.
Basically the new upper terrace from path and roof will all be excavated, removed and binned. Then a stand built properly with a concourse and 4 x sets of steps up from concourse to stand. I’d imagine there would be some good and drink outlets on the concourse under the inside.
Looks like there will be space made to the rear too.
Around 2000 extra capacity with full length roof and outlets it looks mighty impressive. I’d imagine the couple hundred fans from west would buy north tickets and I’m sure we could start making way to hitting that capacity in a few short years.
I’d imagine that the west probably won’t have much done to it which makes sense I guess. That may be one for the future but if that were to be done according to plans submitted too then wow. That would pretty much be all sorted for many years to come.
