Can some one tell me why the Lino try was disallowed
McMeeken (I think) was deemed to have caused an obstruction. Personally, I felt the Hull player made a right meal of it. Out of all of the disallowed tries that was the one I thought could have been given.
Yeah, it was called for obstruction but as you say that rule is getting milked a bit by players who realise they've been caught out of position and instead of pushing off the runner and sliding across when they realise they've been caught out, it's easier to milk the penalty and go for the obstruction, it also got sent up as a no try which seems to be the be all and end all. Tbh I didn't see that one as good as the Johnstone one that got chalked off and for me, everyone looked onside at the kick from the angles they showed on the big screen, I haven't a clue if we didn't see an angle but it looked a good try to me. For the first one that got chalked off you could see that a couple of players were a bit in front of Russell when he kicked.
