Think the phrase is 'gutsy win'!
Thought we started well and deservedly took the lead, but in the twenty minutes up to half-time we lost our way and looked so ragged, our composure and discipline evaporated suddenly. Guess Cartwright calmed them down a touch in the break as we looked a touch calmer and more organized on the restart, but until the intercept I struggled to see where we were going to score.
We got there in the end and it sure wasn't very pretty, but a thumbs up for attitude and sticking in there which we didn't have throughout 2024.
We're short on bodies and short on quality, but then most of us already knew that before a ball was kicked or ran in anger. We are where we are right now and there is no getting away from that. It will be a difficult watch for a good while yet, but we've no choice but to tough it out and stick with them.
On the plus side, as things stand right now we're in a play-off spot so it's not all doom and gloom (for some of us at least)
