We are in far, far better position on and off the field since 10 years ago.



We are far better off the field than 5 years ago.



We have gone backwards on the field in the last 2 years.



Slight changes are needed to get us challenging again IMO.

As a business we are doing very well - if our business was making pork pies we would be the best in the world as we produce the same old cra1p week after week and we make money - but we are in a different business than that its called sport and entertainment.



On the business side of things you have to congratulate the club on the playing side of things we are boring and predictable - yes I have seen the bad times and its not enjoyable but we where broke as a club and we spent as much as we could afford and at least tried to make things better.



We al know what we need but they cost money (proper coach and good half backs ) yes we have an A class licence which will soon be a B class licence unless we improve on the pitch

How many points out of 10 is grade A ????



If it is 9 or above, we will probably lose our grade A in 18 months time when we lose a point for not having an average finishing spot of minimum 8th.



11th last year = 8th this year would mean minimum top 5 next year or lose a point.

Would 8/10 still leave us with an A license ???

Yes, but 8 is the lowest score that gets an A and tbh I don't think we need to worry. We have to avarage 6th for this year and next and I think we are easily good enough to do that.

Last year doesn't count, the franchise system starts from this season IIRC

but our style of play warrents an F



all the time we have 37 average brits in the squad we are doing ok and we can tick a box - our club is like the government we dont perform but we are great at ticking boxes

I totally agree which is why I was asking about the points scoring because if we were to lose that point (which I think we will) and ultimately lose the precious A license, maybe it would mean our board being forced to improve what we have on the field instead of just worrying about what goes on off it.

IMO when pass sales are down next year and revenue is effected they will start to do something about it - hope I am wrong and it happens sooner

JR and KH will not let that happen though !!! They will make sure that there is one solitary marquee signing just to give the fans something to put on their new shirts and to get them renewing their passes !!!



They're not daft you know !!
