Briscoe is a great full back but not world class.
I think this shows the difference between north and southern hemisphere. The role of full back down under is an extra pivot who start every set with an attacking play. Sad to say but we are well behind the likes of Slater et al. |

I'm a Hull F.C and Hull White Star fan, I even have a soft spot for you lot because you come from the Boulevard. My Grandfather played for Hull and Rovers 'A' teams. I love Shaun Briscoe and believe totally that he should be the England fullback. I also believe that Cookie was our main pivot since J.Smith left us and I don't know of a better 6 or 13 that could play for England. You have benefited from our dire mismanagement and at least it's served to make our city look good nationally from your side. Please, please stop being moronic enough to chant 'We all hate Hull' when you're on national t.v. It damages us and you!
