Thought Mason was solid last night and the try he scored is one that was always going to be difficult to stop giving his speed and power so close to the line. I would like us to use him as a dummy runner more often rather than a battering ram.

His stats suggest that he's similar to Paul Clough at Saints, but with more missed tackles, errors and penalties.
I would hazard a guess he's a wee bit more pricey than Paul Clough.
Hope he bucks up a bit as I was really excited about watching him mix it with the big boys over here, but he seems a very pale shadow of the player I saw a few years ago. |
