Another concern is part of the role of scrum half is kicking, and the last thing you want to be doing with an abductor strain is kicking. If Withers plays then someone will need to help Hally out with the long kicks. Latus and Petersen can kick the ball with distance so they might be an option.

All I have seen is that he has pulled his abductor which as you know kinda includes a fair few muscles including the four said muscles in the buttocks.

Nothing allows you to wrongly assume, he's not pulled his arris at all, it's his groin and it's your own fault for wrongly thinking there was only abductor muscles in the bum, face it - you trucked up, again.
